Congratulations to all who passed Basic Manners Training:

..

Thank you for visiting our website.

At Naughty Corner Training we use only Kind, Fair and Effective methods to train dogs and owners alike.

We are both very proud to be Members of the APDT
(The Association of Pet Dog Trainers).
APDT Members are regulated and adhere to a strict code of practise and ongoing personal development.
We never use Aversive methods during our training
or behaviour modification programmes.
(Aversive = any circumstance or event that causes pain, fear or mental or emotional discomfort)

We are aware that some 'trainers' and 'behaviourists' who profess not to use 'harsh methods' are actively using water sprays, rattle cans and physical correction - all designed to shock and distract the dog from unwanted behaviours.

For more information on aversive methods and the consequences of using them please visit www.dogwelfarecampaign.org/

We believe that just as we expect to be treated with kindness and respect when we are learning something new, it follows that we as teachers should have patience and respect when teaching our dogs new behaviours.

Our next Training Classes start on Sunday 9th January - the courses run over 7 weeks and teach basic manners through to recall.

By helping you understand your dog and how to use the training techniques in everyday life, we aim to make training enjoyable and fun.

We also offer real life training when needed - where you live.
We are able to tailor an individual training programme to your needs and situation.
